I want to leave this review for Mambo in Union City because the experience was very good. The food was delicious, with great flavor and presentation, and the atmosphere is pleasant for spending a good time. But above all, I want to highlight the excellent service from Orlando, the waiter. He was very kind, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His service made the experience even better. It’s definitely a place I would return to and recommend. Thanks to Orlando for his great attention!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The bar area is gorgeous as is the whole place! The Mofungo (my first time) was delish, empanadas were stupendous and the bistec sandwich highly recommended.
Really had an amazing time trying Cuban food for the first time in my life here and I can’t think of a great start than this wonderful gem in Union. The whole music and atmosphere match the vibe I was going for on a rainy night after a long show and the whole staff really made sure I tried the best essentials such as Ropa Vieja Mofongo and Chicharrones. Amazing shoutout to Mao for really being patient with me alongside with another lady.
Amazing experience at Mambo Cuban Restaurant & Lounge. The place was absolutely packed, yet the service was still exceptional. The staff stayed attentive and friendly the entire time. The food was authentic and exactly what you expect from a great Cuban restaurant — full of flavor and well presented. We were a group of 7 and they handled our table perfectly, making sure everyone was taken care of. Great atmosphere, great food, and outstanding service. Easily a 5-star experience. I had an amazing experience at Mambo Cuban in Union! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, lively. The food was absolutely tasty—everything was packed with flavor and tasted fresh and well-prepared. You can really tell they take pride in their dishes. Please see attached photos, You will See mofongo it was so tasty and shrimp was great!, the big plate is cuban platter very satisfying, appetizers were beef empanadas and the Yuca wrapped with bacon , 😋 . This my third time here and great food and always a great time on weekends , birthdays and just grabbing a drink and apps after work! What really stood out to me, though, was the service. Our server Yunior Ro was genuinely amazing , super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us even asking. That kind of service really takes the whole experience to another level. If you’re looking for great Cuban food, a fun atmosphere, and top-tier service, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll 100% be coming back!
My wife and I went here on a whim. The food was great and so was the service. I had the classic mojito and my wife got the red wine sangria, both drinks were delicious. We got the mambo platter, the tostones montaditos de Churassco, the fried calamari a Cuban Sandwich a piece of tress leches and a cap. Everything was great. I recommend you going here.

This is my third time eating in Mambo Cuban but first time in this Union branch. We had my uncle’s birthday celebration here and the food was great. Our waitress was Emily and she’s so nice. She paid attention to our needs and made sure to keep on checking on us if we still need anything, making sure that everything was great. Atmosphere was okay, there were 2 flies in our table area at first. Overall, my family and I was satisfied.
This restaurant has nice set up and good food. They also have an outdoor dining that is perfect for the summer. I loved the Legenda Mojitos and the montaditos de Churrasco. I've been going there and ordering from them for a while now and they always have the same quality. Mofongos are delicious!
